April Update!

It's been 3 months since my last blogpost! April means it's my birthday! I just turned 22! :D April also means that one fourth of the year has passed us by. I had the mindset that the year just started and there was enough time to procrastinate my new year's resolutions. Clearly, I'm just cheating myself... |D

Birthday celebration with my royals!

Although it feels like I haven't progressed much in terms of my achievable goals, a lot has happened to me so far in 2015. I spent most of the first 3 months sitting in my room and studying for my 3rd year finals, but in between, I had a few unexpected surprises.

The biggest surprise of all, is that I found love. And with it came a lot of new experiences, obstacles, and a deeper understanding of myself and my surroundings. It came quite shockingly, but I feel truly fortunate and happy. I can only hope that everything turns out well between us.

Because of my Japan trip and other unfortunate turn of events, I had some issues with my university examinations, causing me to be barred from one of my exams. Thankfully, all is still well (I'll just have to attend remedial classes and retake the exams in September), and I've passed my other two subjects! Which means I'm promoted to BDS year 4! Woohoo!

Also, got to celebrate my Chinese New Year at home after 2 years of absence!

I've had 2 cosplay photoshoots and attended Animax Carnival. I've sold quite a few of my old cosplay stuff, which is definitely gonna fund my new costumes. xD Which... I haven't worked on them at all this entire holiday.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun!

N - Pokemon Black/White

Another fun thing to note about my holidays, is that I'm finally driving on the road! I've gotten my almost provisional driver's license 3 years ago, but as I'm studying away from home, I never had much chance to practice. I'm still not a very good driver, but I can drive, nonetheless. ^^"

National Dental Intervarsity Sports Carnival 2015!
I represented PIDC in Futsal and we won Gold! (I was mostly the sub, actually |D)

My holidays are ending soon, and I'm going back to Penang this weekend. Hopefully the rest of 2015 will be kind to me!

  1. interesting article. may i know why were you absent from 2 years ' of cny? does pidc has compulsory classes / exam during the month of jan/feb? thought of enrolling into pidc.

    1. Hi Anon! I was in India for 2 years and PIDC in India does not have CNY holidays (their schedule is based on India's own public holidays). Also because of the distance, hence almost all of us would not travel home for CNY.

    2. Just to ease your mind, PIDC Penang does have 1 week festive break during CNY. xD
